Truman Elementary hosted their very first STEM Family Night. Students worked with their families, peers and teachers, incorporating all aspects of the STEM model into the event. Some of the stations included building bird feeders from milk cartons, folding paper footballs and creating straw rockets. Families were also able to partake in a simulated rocket launch and landing task along with engineering and technology-based activities, such as programming Botzees robots, running Spheros and making foil boats. To make this event even more special, Truman student's Leprechaun traps designed in class were on display for families to view.
