Second graders in Mrs. Silagyi and Mrs. Wagner's class participate in small group instruction to build phonics, vocabulary and reading skills. As the students rotate through the centers they receive more personalized instruction, targeted skill development and immediate feedback. Meeting students at their level ensures that every child builds confidence and essential literacy skills.
The approach is helping all learners to develop a strong foundation in reading. With small group instruction, every student gets the support they need, making reading fun, exciting and a skill they’ll use for life!
