On Saturday, March 12, 2022, sixth grader Julianno Ranic performed in the Erie County Music Educator's Association (ECMEA) concert at Kleinhans Music Hall. Julianno was one of 14 trumpet players from grades 5-6 across Erie County who was selected to participate in this year's elementary All-County band.
Prior to this concert, Julianno completed an audition in January where he performed a trumpet solo, scales, and sight reading. After scoring a 99 on his audition, Julianno attended three rehearsals with his fellow All-County musicians between Sweet Home Middle School and Kleinhans. Paul Biddle of Amherst Middle School conducted the elementary All-County band.
