Lackawanna Middle School Student Council members teamed up with the LHS/LMS International Club for a Cultural Fest during school lunches on Friday, May 5. Students created bulletin boards, planned activities and prepared food samples to represent their country.
The Italian Fruit Smoothies were a hit, Mr. Khalil even took a ride with encouragement from students. The blender bike was made possible thanks to the Creating Healthy Schools & Community Grant program.
An additional drawing contest was held during the fair. Congratulations to the winners: Autumn Green, Alice Dziedzic, and Giovanni Kenderick (Pictured in the first photo).
