The Lackawanna Middle School held its annual PBIS Basketball Game and activities with students competing against staff and the Lackawanna Police Department!
Before the games, our LMS student winter athletes were recognized for their hard work in Modified Sports, Indoor Track and, of course, basketball.
Our 6th, 7th and 8th graders all had the opportunity to take on their teachers and the officers in separate games; however, only the 8th graders succeeded in beating their adult opponents.
Following the student games, our Lackawanna teachers took on the Lackawanna Police Department in a heated game. Running the game right down to the wire, the Lackawanna teachers narrowly pulled ahead with the win.
In between games, students were treated to a variety of activities such as a hula hooping contest, a 3-Point contest and a half-court shootout.
The event was a fun time for all involved, and we can't wait to see what is in store for next year!
