Freedom Wall in Buffalo

Members of LCSD's B.S.U. (Black Student Union) braved the elements to visit The Freedom Wall in Buffalo, an art installation commissioned by the Albright Knox Art Gallery.

Prior to visiting the wall, each member was tasked with researching one of the 28 prominent African Americans featured there, and the students were treated to lunch courtesy of the L.E.E.F. Organization.

Our students enjoyed an afternoon of education and fun!

Thank you L.E.E.F.! Happy Black History Month and Happy Mid-Winter Break LCSD!
