Mrs. O'Connor's 2nd grade mathematicians, or should I say detectives, are on the case to solve the crime of the Valentine's Day Villain!
These savvy detectives used their math skills to add and subtract within 20, counting patterns, even and odd numbers, and place value to narrow down a list of suspects attempting to ruin Valentine's Day.
Using their math strategies and keen inferencing skills, the students were able to solve the case to determine that Mr. Fox was a tall, fast animal that ruined Valentine's Day.
