The month of January recognizes Braille Literacy month, highlighting the importance of Braille to blind and visually impaired individuals globally. The Lackawanna City School District works to educate and support all of our students. A great example of that is the work of our Teacher Aid at Martin Road Elementary, Meaghan Maddigan, who works with students like Maria Abbadi.
