My name is Mohamed Albanna. I'm the Arabic Cultural Specialist for the high school. I was born in the Republic of Yemen and immigrated to the United States 55 years ago. I have been living in Lackawanna since i graduated from Erie Community College with an Associates Degree in Business. I also manage my own businesses and have served many nonprofit organizations in various capacities. I'm a father of 9 children and a grandfather of 32 and just became a
great grandfather a few months ago. I'm honored to serve our district in this role because it gives me the opportunity to help to the students, staff and the community of Lackawanna.

Nadin Noman
Arabic Cultural Resource Specialist

My name is Nadin Noman, and I am the Cultural Resource Specialist and liaison for the Arabic language in the Lackawanna District. For the past 11 years, I have dedicated myself to supporting our community in various ways. Having immigrated to a new country over 35 years ago and as a proud graduate of Lackawanna, I understand the importance of having support while adapting to a new environment. I began my journey as a teacher's aide in a special education classroom and later transitioned into my current role in the district. I am fortunate to work closely with many students and families, acting as an interpreter and facilitating clear communication between the school and our community, something I hold in high regard and take considerable pride in.

My name is Hana Muthanna, and I serve as a Multicultural Resource Specialist and liaison for Arabic-speaking families in the district. I bring over 7 years of experience in education and community outreach to this role, focusing on bridging cultural and linguistic gaps to support students and families. My work involves fostering inclusive environments and helping families navigate the educational system effectively. Fluent in Arabic and English, I ensure open communication between parents, students and school staff. My passion lies in building strong relationships with diverse communities and advocating for their needs. I am proud to contribute to a district that values diversity and inclusion.
