Dear Lackawanna City School District family and community:  

I am honored and thrilled to stand before you today as the new Superintendent of Schools for our district. My journey to this position has been a unique and personal one, as I am not only an educator but also a former student and graduate of this very district, "Class of 1993: Once a Steeler, Always a Steeler". What's more, I am a proud City of Lackawanna resident, and my own two children are enrolled in our schools, making this role a true homecoming and a testament to my deep commitment to the education and well-being of our community. 

I am excited about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. Together with our dedicated educators, staff, parents, and community members, we will continue to build upon the rich legacy of our district, striving for excellence and nurturing the potential of every student. I am committed to fostering an environment of inclusivity, innovation, and collaboration, where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. 

I look forward to working closely with all of you as we embark on this journey of providing a world-class education to our students. Together, we can ensure that the district continues to be a place where dreams are nurtured, potential is realized, and every child's future is bright.
