Mohamed AlshawaiFrom the time Lackawanna student Mohamed Alshawai joined the wrestling team in seventh grade, he has worked hard to become one of the best wrestlers in the high school's history. He qualified for the New York State Wrestling Championships in Albany in 2018 and again this year!

Recently, while competing for a state championship, Mohamed won one of his three matches. His overall record stands at 63-15. With three years left to wrestle, Mohamed will surely surpass the 100-career victory total, a feat which Lackawanna High School will surely celebrate!
