On Friday, Nov. 8, Martin Road Elementary School hosted its second annual Veterans Day Parade.
The parade began with Assistant Principal Matteo Anello and band teacher Russ Carere playing, "When the Saints go Marching In." They were followed by the Maritime Charter School Drill Team, students marching with the Hometown Hero banners, the veterans and bagpipes.
As the veterans marched through the halls, they were greeted by nearly 600 students cheering, clapping and saluting.
Martin Road Elementary School continues to thank all of our area veterans for their service to our country.
