The Parent Portal and the Student Portal are available through an eSchoolData web application that can enhance communications with parents/guardians of students attending our four schools. There is access to view information regarding the student's schedule, grades, attendance, progress report and report card.

 

How do parents log in to the Parent Portal?

Parents/guardians log in using their email address provided at the time of registration. If you have not provided an email address, you will need to stop by the Registration Office between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. and have photo identification with you.

The first-time login prompts will guide you through setting up your account and provide you with a way to enter a password for your account.

NOTE: Parent Portal Registration is inactive on the Parent Portal Login page. Accounts are provided to Parents/guardians by the District. For a Parent Portal account, the District must have on file documentation that verifies you are a Lackawanna City Schools student's parent/guardian.



Portal access is available for parents of students attending Truman Elementary School, Martin Road Elementary School, Lackawanna Middle School or Lackawanna High School.

NOTE: New accounts for Parent Portal may take some time to setup. An email notification is sent with instructions for accessing Parent Portal.


Q: What happens if a parent/guardian attempts to log in incorrectly too many times?
A: You can retrieve your Parent Portal account password by clicking the "Forgot Password?" link on the Parent Portal Login page.

Q: What if a parent/guardian has trouble with logging in to Parent Portal?
A: Try the "Forgot Password?" link on the Parent Portal Login page. If the "Forgot Password?" link does not work, contact Bruce Axelson, Principal of Technology and CIO, at 716-821-5610 ext. 7792.

NOTE: For a Parent Portal account, the District must have on file documentation that verifies you are a Lackawanna City Schools student's parent/guardian.

How do students log in to the Student Portal?

Student Username: first letter of first name + first two letters of last name + last four characters of student ID + @lackawannaschools.org

Student Password: pP- + YYYYMM



Portal access is available for students attending Lackawanna Middle School or Lackawanna High School.



Q: What happens if a student attempts to login incorrectly too many times?
A: ​The Student Portal account locks after 5 failed attempts.

Q: What should a student do if their Student Portal account is locked?
A: If a student has locked their Student Portal account, they should notify their building principal. The principal can unlock the account.

Q: Who can unlock a Student Portal account?
A: The building principals and their office secretary can unlock accounts.



How to Unlock a Student Portal Account (Building Principal / Office Secretary)

1. Log in to eSchoolData.
2. Click "Interoperability" and click "eSP".
3. Click "Student Account Management."
4. Click "Search" to show all students or use filters to find student.

NOTE: Student Portal accounts with orange lock images are locked. Unlocked accounts will not have the orange lock image.

5. Click the orange lock image to unlock the Student Portal account.
