Erie County Assistant District Attorney Danielle N. D'Abate presented to Lackawanna Middle School students on Oct. 17, 2018.
For each grade level, D'Abate provided information on the consequences of inappropriately using social media, fighting and possession and use of drugs. Her focus was on prevention and helping students to fully understand legal implications.
"We would like to thank Ms. D'Abate for coming to our school and tackling some very difficult topics for our students," Middle School Principal Bethany Schill stated. "She did a wonderful job explaining how to stay out of trouble when it comes to these sorts of things."
