Lackawanna students join other students in cleaning up area parks

Lackawanna students teamed up with students from four other Erie County districts on May 31 for Parks Clean-Up Day.

A total of 275 students took part in the initiative, which was organized through Erie County Clerk Mickey Kearns’ Healthy District Initiative. Lackawanna's students worked with students from West Seneca to help clean up Buffalo Harbor State Park / Tift Nature Preserve.

Read the press release announcing the event and a press release about the day - both on Kearns' website - for more details.
